mumbai: Nita Ambani, Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, was spotted shopping last night at ‘The House of Angadi,’ a luxury store in Bengaluru renowned for its handloom sarees, textiles, and traditional clothing. Dressed simply, Nita Ambani, the owner of the Mumbai Indians, greeted the crowd before entering the store amidst tight security. Reports suggest that Nita Ambani purchased sarees from this renowned 600-year-old establishment.

As the wife of Mukesh Ambani, India’s richest man, Nita has long been celebrated as a style icon. The store gained significant attention in 2018 when actress Deepika Padukone wore a silk Kanjivaram saree, intricately handcrafted by its artisans over a span of 45 days.

Nita Ambani’s visit to ‘The House of Angadi’ sparked widespread attention. Located in South Bengaluru and spanning 18,000 square feet, this luxury store is led by K. Radharaman, the descendant of a 600-year-old family legacy. The store is celebrated for its exquisite Kanjivaram silk sarees, bridal attire, and the fusion of traditional weaves with modern designs.

Nita Ambani made a stunning appearance at the boutique, dressed in a navy blue floral co-ord set that radiated understated elegance. The ensemble featured a tailored blouse paired with matching trousers, both beautifully detailed with intricate white floral embroidery.

She completed her chic look with stylish block heels, subtle earrings, a classic watch, and a delicate bracelet. Her hair, styled in soft waves with a side parting, perfectly enhanced her refined and effortless style. After Nita Ambani’s visit, The House of Angadi expressed their gratitude on Instagram by posting a picture of her with K. Radharaman. The caption read, “Thank you, Mrs. Nita Ambani, for your warmth and patronage.”

In addition, a photo of Nita Ambani’s note in the store’s visitor book was shared online. Her message read, “Wonderful to be here and experience our Indian heritage,” highlighting her appreciation for the brand’s commitment to preserving cultural traditions.

The name “Angadi” comes from the Kannada word for “shop” or “store” and is synonymous with exceptional craftsmanship. The brand rose to prominence for its meticulously handcrafted creations, including the brocade silk Kanjeevaram saree worn by Deepika Padukone, which was said to have taken 45 days to complete.
