Hotel booking data from Agoda shows South Koreans will top the list of visitors to Vietnam during New Year’s Eve.

They will be followed by tourists from Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, and the U.S., online travel platform reported based on bookings made from Nov. 1 to 27 for check-ins on Dec. 31.

HCMC, Phu Quoc and Da Nang are the top destinations.

Searches for accommodation in Vietnam during the New Year have increased by 30% from last year, highlighting the country’s growing allure among international travelers, Agoda said.

South Korea has been the biggest source of visitors to Vietnam this year with 4.1 million, or over 25% of total foreign arrivals.

Japan, the U.S. and Taiwan have also been among the top five.
