Mallikarjun Kharge asked for resignation from Amit Shah, said- Home Minister insulted Ambedkar

New Delhi. As soon as the Lok Sabha proceedings began, the opposition started creating ruckus in the name of Baba Saheb. MPs from opposition parties had reached the House carrying photographs of Baba Saheb. Opposition parties are demanding an apology from Home Minister Amit Shah for his remarks about Baba Saheb. MPs from opposition parties demonstrated in the Parliament House complex carrying Baba Saheb's photo before the commencement of Parliament proceedings on Wednesday. Opposition MPs raised slogans accusing Baba Saheb of insulting him and demanding an apology.

National President of Congress Party Mallikarjun Kharge said that Home Minister Amit Shah has insulted Babasaheb in the House today. This has once again proved that BJP and RSS were against the tricolor. His ancestors opposed the Ashoka Chakra.
He said that people of Sangh Parivar wanted to implement Manusmriti instead of the Constitution of India from day one. Babasaheb Dr. Ambedkar ji did not allow this to happen. That's why there is so much hatred towards them.

Kharge said that the ministers of Modi government should open their ears and understand that for crores of people like me, Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar ji is no less than God. He is and will always be the messiah of Dalits, tribals, backward classes, minorities and the poor.

Congress Party national president Mallikarjun Kharge said that the BJP-RSS and their political ancestors stood in favor of Manusmriti and against the Constitution of India. He opposed the tricolor national flag and he opposed the Ashoka Chakra. They burnt copies of the Constitution at Ramlila Maidan. When the people of India foiled his move to “cross 400” and change the Constitution of India, out of frustration they are now insulting Babasaheb and his brilliant contribution. India will protest against this attack on Babasaheb's legacy, parliamentary democracy and our Constitution. Home Minister Amit Shah should apologize to the country for insulting Babasaheb.

The opposition also created ruckus in the Rajya Sabha over Amit Shah's statement regarding Ambedkar. On the ruckus of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar said that Baba Saheb is venerable, respectable and exemplary for all of us. The Cabinet has done the work of awarding him Bharat Ratna. There was uproar in the Rajya Sabha also over the statement of Home Minister Amit Shah. Due to the uproar, the proceedings of the Upper House were also adjourned till 2 pm.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that we have heard very well that the Home Minister expressed his respect for Baba Saheb. How Congress insulted Baba Saheb and did not give him Bharat Ratna. Congress has done the work of defeating Baba Saheb. Time and again Congress has tried to insult Baba Saheb. Baba Saheb was a Buddhist, I am also a Buddhist. We follow the path shown by them, not you. These people pretend.

On the opposition's uproar, Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal surrounded the opposition and Congress. Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal asked on the opposition's uproar what he did. They did not even allow Baba Saheb's photograph to be displayed and today they have brought his photograph. Congress has always insulted Baba Saheb. As the Home Minister said in the Rajya Sabha, Congress did not allow him to reach the House.
