India-Australia's Gabba Test ends in a draw, series tied 1-1 after rain spoils the game

India vs Australia 3rd Test Match Report: The third Test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy played between India and Australia at Gabba, Brisbane ended in a draw. With this, currently the five-match series is tied at 1-1. Travis Head was adjudged player of the match for his explosive innings.

India had a target of 275 runs in 54 overs to win on the fifth day, but after 2.1 overs of play, the match was stopped due to bad light and then heavy rain disrupted the game. After which it was decided to end the match.

Australia scored 89 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 18 overs in the second innings on the fifth day, taking Australia's total lead to 274 runs. In the second innings for Australia, captain Pat Cummins scored 22 runs, Alex Carey scored 20 not out and Travis Head scored 17 runs.

In the second innings for India, Jasprit Bumrah took 3 wickets, Akashdeep and Mohammad Siraj took 2-2 wickets.

It is noteworthy that after being invited to bat first, Australia made a huge score of 445 runs in the first innings on the basis of Travis Head (152 runs), Steve Smith (101 runs) and Alex Carey (70 runs).

In response to which the Indian team was all out for 260 runs and the host team got a huge lead of 185 runs. In the first innings for India, KL Rahul scored 84 runs, Ravindra Jadeja played 77 runs and Akashdeep played important innings of 31 runs.
