Ingredients required to make Jhunka

  • Onion
  • Tomato
  • Green chilly
  • Coriander
  • red chilli
  • Turmeric
  • coriander powder
  • Cumin
  • Rye
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • wet pigeon peas

How to make Jhunka

  • First of all, take some oil and lightly fry fenugreek seeds in it.
  • Then grind these grains coarsely in the mixer. Keep in mind that do not grind them too finely, otherwise the pulp will not be formed properly.
  • Now pour oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, onion and green chillies. Fry them until they turn light red.
  • After this add red chilli powder, turmeric, salt and coriander powder. – Cook the spices well.
  • Then add tomatoes to it, cook it completely and grind it.
  • Now add coarsely ground curd mixture into it and mix well.
  • If the mixture seems too dry then add some water and cover and let it cook for some time.
  • Finally add green coriander to it and prepare it.
