Chhindwara:- The district administration has started a unique initiative for the students of class XI and XII studying in government schools of the district. More than 5200 students of Chhindwara are being given free preparation for JEE and NEET entrance exams. Chhindwara is the only district in the entire state where preparation for JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) and NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is being done in schools through innovation. For this, the district administration and education department have scheduled an extra class in schools. Specialist teachers of related subjects are preparing these children for the examination.

Students studying Biology and Mathematics in class 12th have to appear for JEE and NEET before pursuing engineering and medical fields. For this examination held at All India level, competitive students take the help of coaching institutes. For which they have to go to big cities and pay huge amount as fees for coaching. In such a situation, it is difficult for ordinary students to take coaching. Because of this, many promising children are not able to pass the entrance examination due to lack of proper guidance.
700 teachers have been given training
Chhindwara district administration has started this wonderful initiative so that money does not become a hindrance in the path of children who dream of becoming doctors and engineers. For this, this coaching is being given free of cost to children in all 211 government higher secondary schools of the district. To prepare the children, 700 teachers from across the district have been given training. Here they have been given training by experts in different subjects from metropolitan cities. After the regular classes held in schools, an extra one-hour class is conducted in which teachers teach the children the tricks to pass the JEE-NEET entrance exam. This class is also inspected every day.
This time 545 students will appear in the examination.
This time 545 students of the district, who were preparing with free coaching, have filled the form for the entrance examination of JEE and NEET. Students studying in class 12th will appear in these examinations after giving the annual examination. This will be the exam for the first attempted through which they will get benefit in further preparation. Out of the students studying in secondary school, 3600 students are preparing for NEET and 1600 students are preparing for JEE. Of these, 545 students will appear for the first time.
Collector's initiative, change will happen only through education
District Education Officer Gopal Singh Baghel said that “Many children studying in government schools of Chhindwara district cannot join coaching. In such a situation, JEE and NEET classes are being organized under the guidance of Collector Shilendra Singh. An extra period of one hour is imposed in school every day. Free English and Hindi medium notes have been provided to the students.
