Aston Villa Star in Six-Team Transfer Battle Amid Latest Rumours
Aston Villa’s young forward, Louie Barry being targeted by six teams in the upcoming Transfer Window, as his loan with Stockport County also comes to an end. Middlesbrough leads the transfer race, as Leeds United enters the promotion change.
Louie Barry is reported to depart from Aston Villa as the January Transfer Window approaches, which makes it even more challenging for the team to make a decision regarding the same. There are a number of teams which have joined the transfer race for the forward, which is now also joined by Sheffield United.
Currently, Barry is a part of Stockport County on a loan deal but it looks like he may be recalled by the team in the January Transfer Window. There are three clubs in the Championship who have already shown their interest to sign the young talent, which includes Leeds United, Middlesbrough, and Sheffield Wednesday.
Sunderland and Burnley have also shown their interest recently, adding them to the list, which also shows that the transfer clash will be intense. Middlesbrough currently takes the lead for the transfer charge, as Aston Villa might not be willing to make his transfer available in the upcoming few weeks.
Along with that, Leeds United are also being involved in a promotion change, which means that a team change for Louie Barry is likely to take place. Playing for Stockport County, he tops the goal-scoring charts in the League One, with 15 goals and one assist in the 21 games he has played.
