Mumbai Triple talaq pregnant women mumbai: A shocking incident has come to light from Mumbra area of Thane. When a wife went out alone for a morning walk, an angry husband called his wife's father and said that he was giving her triple talaq because she had gone out alone in the morning. In this case, the wife has filed a case against the husband under Section 4 of the Muslim Women Act and the Triple Talaq Act. At present, the police have registered a case in this matter and have sent a notice to the husband, further investigation is being done by the police.
According to the police, the woman was married to Kularya Alikhan on January 27, 2024. The woman, being pregnant, was staying at her parents' house in Mumbra from Kurla. On 10 December 2024, Ali Khan called his wife and came to know that she had gone for a morning walk (triple talaq pregnant women mumbai). On this her husband asked her to come back to Kurla. However the husband hung up the phone saying that she could not come due to the situation.
When the woman reached home, Ali Khan called again and asked to turn on the speaker and said 'talaq, talaq, talaq' three times in front of the family. The woman and her family are in shock after the incident. He lodged a complaint at Mumbra Police Station on 11 December 2024.
Mumbra police registered a case against Ali Khan under Triple Talaq Act and sent a notice to the husband. It is also being investigated whether the divorce was given because of the morning walk (triple talaq pregnant women mumbai) or there is some other reason behind it. Investigating officer Ravindra Pakhare said that further investigation is going on in this case.
