Zenmoji in WhatsApp: How to create and use it on your iPhone

Delhi Delhi: Apple recently rolled out iOS 18.2 update on supported iPhone models. This update brought several new Apple Intelligence features to iPhones, including the ability to create Genmojis. For those who don't know, Genmojis are custom emojis created using Apple Intelligence. The feature was announced along with other features powered by Apple Intelligence that the company announced earlier this year at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024 and comes to iPhone models running iOS 18.2.

Genmojis are available not only in Apple's messaging app i.e. iMessage, but also in WhatsApp. This means WhatsApp users can create and share custom-made emojis with their friends and family members on iPhone.

So, here's a step-by-step guide to create and use Genmojis in WhatsApp on iPhone:

How to create and use Genmoji in WhatsApp

Step 1: Download iOS 18.2 on your iPhone.

Step 2: Download the latest version of WhatsApp on your iPhone.

Step 3: Open the chat on WhatsApp where you want to share the Genmoji.

Step 4: Tap on the emoji icon located right next to the spacebar in the keyboard.

Step 5: Now tap on the emoji icon visible in red color right next to the emoji search bar on the screen.

Step 6: Tap on the Continue button.

Step 7: Type the prompt for the Genmoji you want to create.

Step 8: Doing so, Apple will generate an image based on your prompt. Keep scrolling until you find the Genmoji you want to use.

Step 9: Tap on the three dots that appear right next to the selected emoji.

Step 10: Tap the Save as sticker option to add it to your WhatsApp sticker collection.

Step 11: Tap the Add button at the top right corner to share the selected Genmoji in the chat.

Although users can create any emoji using the newly launched Genmoji feature, they cannot add text to emojis created using Apple Intelligence's Genmoji feature.
