Expensive film: The world's most expensive film which has not been released till date, only the trailer came.
Expensive Film: The world's most expensive film, which had a budget of Rs 130 million (approximately Rs 10.96 billion), never hit the theatres. The film was titled Empires of the Deep and it was full of action, adventure and animation. It took 4 years to prepare the script of the film and more than 10 writers were working on it. But sadly, the trailer of the film was released in 2010, but the film never hit the big screen.
Why was the film not released?
John Jiang, a wealthy Chinese real estate agent, decided to make the film, but encountered many controversies and problems during filming. After the shooting of the film started, the trailer also arrived, but some scenes needed to be re-shot, which increased the cost. Subsequently, the filmmakers did not have enough funds to complete the film and ultimately the film was never released.
Big loss to the makers
Billions of rupees were spent on this film with great expectations, but still the film could not be completed. The producers suffered huge losses from this project.
