IND vs AUS: 'One day everyone's turn will come', R Ashwin started laughing after seeing Gautam Gambhir, what did Anna say in the dressing room?

Cricket News Desk. All-rounder R Ashwin gave an emotional farewell speech in the Indian dressing room at the Gabba after the conclusion of the third Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Ashwin said that he has built great relationships with his teammates, especially in the last 4-5 years. He mentioned his relationships with players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja.

Off spinner R. Ashwin was also presented a shirt signed by members of the Australian cricket team. His enemy-turned-good friend Nathan Lyon and Australian team captain Pat Cummins presented him this special shirt at Gabba on Wednesday. R. Ashwin recalled his first Australian tour in 2011-12 and how he developed bonds with his teammates over the years.

'Leaving some friends behind'
Ashwin said, “It feels as if I am going to Australia for the first time.” I saw many people leaving. Rahul is gone, Sachin is gone, believe me friends, everyone's time comes and today is my time. I have enjoyed it a lot. I have built some good relationships, especially in the last 4-5 years. I'm leaving behind some of my teammates that I love playing with.

Ashwin said he will be leaving for home on Thursday, December 19, but told the team that he will keep an eye on the remaining matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Ashwin stressed that the 'cricket lover' inside him never dies. He also said that he would help his teammates if they needed his help.

'One day everyone's turn will come'
“I'll go back home, but I'll stay in Melbourne to see how well you guys are doing,” Anna said. I look forward to each of your presentations. The international cricketer in me may be gone, but the cricket lover in me will never die. I love you very much. If you need anything I'm just a phone call away.
