Congress attacked Amit Shah's statement regarding Ambedkar, nationwide demonstration today

Amit Shah’s statement on Ambedkar: There is an uproar in the politics of the country after Union Home Minister Amit Shah's comment in the Parliament regarding Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Congress had strongly protested against Shah's statement on Wednesday. Now today i.e. on Thursday the opposition has planned a nationwide protest. In which Congress workers will demand the resignation of Amit Shah.

According to media reports, Congress has planned nationwide protests after Amit Shah's remarks. Under this, all the State Congress Committees (PCC), state and district units have decided to protest outside the district office. Earlier on Wednesday, Shah's remarks gave rise to a massive political controversy. The Congress-led opposition cornered the BJP-led Modi government.

In this matter, due to strong opposition from opposition parties including Congress, TMC, DMK, RJD, Left parties and Shiv Sena-UBT, the proceedings of both the houses of Parliament had to be adjourned on Wednesday. Even PM Modi had to post an X in defense of Amit Shah, while Shah himself had to hold a press conference.

What did Amit Shah say?

During the debate on the Constitution in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, Home Minister Amit Shah made a comment about Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Amit Shah said, “Now it has become a fashion – Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar. If you had taken this much name of God, you would have gone to heaven for seven births.” After this statement, Congress and other opposition parties started creating ruckus. Congress is continuously demanding an apology from Amit Shah regarding this. Apart from this, there are demands from PM Modi to dismiss Shah.
