New Delhi :- Opposition parties are attacking Home Minister Amit Shah over a statement given on Constitution maker Baba Saheb Ambedkar. He has called it an insult to Ambedkar. Seeing the growing controversy, PM Modi himself came to the defense of Amit Shah.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that if the Congress and its rotten ecosystem think that their malicious lies can hide their misdeeds over the years, especially their disrespect towards Dr Ambedkar, then they are seriously mistaken. PM Modi said that the people of India have seen time and again how a family-led party has used every possible dirty trick to erase the legacy of Dr. Ambedkar and humiliate the SC/ST communities.

What did Amit Shah say?
Here, let us tell you that while replying to the debate in Rajya Sabha on completion of 75 years of the Constitution, Home Minister Amit Shah had given a statement regarding Ambedkar. PM Modi wrote on social media that the list of Congress's deeds towards Dr. Ambedkar is long. He wrote that Congress defeated him in the elections not once but twice. Nehru himself campaigned against him and made his defeat a prestige issue.

PM Modi further wrote that Congress did not honor him with the Bharat Ratna award during his tenure and did not place his portrait in the Central Hall of Parliament. Congress may try as hard as they want, but they cannot deny that the worst massacres against SC/ST communities have taken place during their rule. They sat in power for years but did nothing to empower the SC and ST communities.
PM Modi wrote, “In Parliament, Home Minister Amit Shah exposed Congress's dark history of insulting Dr. Ambedkar and ignoring SC/ST communities. They are clearly shocked and appalled by the facts presented by them, which is why they are now indulging in theatrics. Sadly for them, people know the truth. It is because of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar that we are what we are! Our government has worked tirelessly in the last decade to fulfill Babasaheb's vision. Take any area – be it lifting 25 crore people out of poverty, strengthening the SC/ST Act, flagship programs of our government like Swachh Bharat, PM Awas Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, Ujjwala Yojana and many more. Yes, each of these has impacted people's lives. Are poor and marginalised.”
Writing on Baba Saheb Ambedkar, PM Modi said that our government has worked to develop Panchteerth, 5 prestigious places associated with Ambedkar, the matter regarding the land of Chaitya Bhoomi was pending for decades, our government not only resolved this issue. , in fact I even went there to pray.
