Salman Khan’s remarkable cameo in Baby Joon

Bollywood’s “Dabang” star Salman Khan enjoys a massive fan following with audiences eager to see him on screen be it through films TV hosting or cameo appearances.

Recently during a promotional interview for the film Baby Joon producer Atlee shared an interesting story about working with the superstar Salman Khan.

A casual coffee invite led to the cameo

In the interview Atlee revealed that he approached Salman Khan for a cameo role in Baby Joon over a casual cup of coffee. Salman Khan to everyone’s surprise agreed to the role without even reading the script or demanding a fee.

Atlee recalled that he initially discussed the idea with the film’s co-producer Murad Khetani while actor Varun Dhawan remained unaware of the plan.

Salman Khan’s humility and professionalism

The producer also admitted feeling nervous about working with someone of Salman Khan’s stature. However Salman’s humble and approachable demeanor quickly put him at ease.

Atlee said “I’ve worked with Shah Rukh Khan and prominent South Indian actors but Salman Khan’s trust in me without even reading the script was unparalleled.”

A surprising incident on set

Atlee shared a memorable incident from the shoot Salman Khan arrived on set 30 minutes earlier than the scheduled call time. “We had asked him to report at 1:00 PM but he showed up at 12:30 PM. I arrived on time but Salman was already there, sitting like a lion ready to work” Atlee laughed.

Salman’s unmatched generosity

The producer also highlighted Salman Khan’s generosity emphasizing that the actor didn’t charge even a single rupee for his cameo. This gesture further solidified Salman Khan’s reputation as one of the most gracious stars in Bollywood.

With such stories of professionalism and humility Salman Khan continues to win hearts both on and off the screen making his cameo in Baby Joon even more special for his fans.
