ICC announced its final decision on Champions Trophy 2025; India will play the match on neutral venue
ICC Champions Trophy 2025: The dispute between India and Pakistan regarding Champions Trophy 2025 seems to be ending. The ICC on Thursday confirmed that India and Pakistan matches at ICC events hosted by any country during the 2024-2027 rights cycle will be played at neutral venues. This will apply to the upcoming ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 (hosted by Pakistan), which will be played in February and March 2025.

According to the ICC, the matches between India and Pakistan in the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 (hosted by India) and ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 (hosted by India and Sri Lanka) will be played at neutral venues. It was also announced that the PCB has been awarded the rights to host the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in 2028, where the neutral venue arrangement will also be in place. Cricket Australia is set to host one of the ICC's senior women's events during the period 2029 to 2031.
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 schedule will be confirmed soon, with Pakistan aiming to retain the title they won in 2017. Apart from host Pakistan, teams from Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand and South Africa will participate in this eight-team event.
