According to the changes made in the rules for the current year 2024, now wheat, pulses, gram, sugar, salt, oil, flour, soybean and spices will be given to ration card holders. The reason behind this decision of the Central Government is to increase the nutritional level in the food of 80 crore people of the country. The government has taken this decision to increase the nutritional level of food. According to the new rules, now ration cards will be given only to those eligible people who are destitute and needy. To avail the benefits of the Ration Card Scheme, a person must be a native of India. Along with this, ration card will be provided to the applicant's family only after investigation.

In such a situation, if you are also a ration card holder, then you can complete your e-KYC by visiting your nearest ration card shop. If you do not get your ration card e-KYC done in time, your ration card will be canceled and you will not be able to get ration in future.
