Wife rages after husband receives Christmas card from single female friend

Her hubby’s single gal pal seems like a real wild card — and this “Grinchy” wife isn’t taking any chances this Christmas.

Tidings of comfort and joy are often expressed through cheery greeting cards sent between loved ones during the holidays. However, one married merrymaker is virally questioning the motives of her husband’s female friend, who sends him a sweet missive in celebration of Dec. 25.

And it’s igniting a Yuletide fiery debate online — is the woman being naughty or nice?

“Every Christmas my husband gets a Christmas card from this divorced girl, she’s a single mom,” explained J Noblesa TikTok content creator, to the over 63,000 viewers of her trending tell-all.

“I’ve never even met her, and she sends the Christmas card just addressed to him,” continued the blond mom of two, adding that her groom’s known this other woman for years.

“I just think that’s a little bit weird,” she said before likening herself to the “Grinch” in the vid’s caption.

A handful of unsuspicious commenters feel Nobles’ concerns are unwarranted, arguing that the singleton’s intentions are likely pure.

But social media skeptics are screaming Fa-la-la-la-la, La-la-la — Nah!insisting that the unnamed lady’s annual letters addressed exclusively to her guy are, indeed, inappropriate.

“I’d have zero issues. They’ve been friends for years? Once a year card? I’m not seeing a problem. Not everyone is a threat to your relationship,” argued an easygoing onlooker.

“It’s not that serious,” another barked at Nobles, in part.

But the virtual cries of the unbothered were nearly drowned out by cyber cynics, who refuse to see the repeat offenses through rose-colored glasses.

“Just addressed to him. I think not. I’d be writing return to sender and putting it back in the outgoing,” wrote a supporter.

“If my male friends were married I would be addressing the card to him and his wife,” asserted another. “Even if I never met her, it’s called respect for you and him.”

Nobels is far from the only wife dealing with messy mail drama this year.

Believe it or not, Christmas cards have recently become a bone of contention in a number of households nationwide.

Jenny Smith, a Georgia-based realtor, was deemed a “homewrecker” for sending well-meaning holiday messages to former clients. One outraged homeowner even left her a scathing voicemailclaiming her card caused his wife to think he’d purchased a home for a “secret girlfriend.”

And it’s not far-fetched to wonder if your significant other is cheating during the most wonderful time of the year.

In fact, a recent survey from Datingroo, a UK-based review domain for online dating platforms, found that 35% of women and 31% of men in relationships have embarked on illicit sexual encounters at Christmastime.

Baker Sorekli, a relationship expert, has also previously warned that infidelity often occurs between friendly co-workers at office holiday parties.

“I’m not saying if you have no intentions of ever cheating on your partner, and you’re falling in love with your partner, that the work Christmas party puts you at a higher risk of cheating,” he explained. “[However,] anecdotally from my experience as a clinical psychologist for 18-odd years, it does tend to happen a bit more around this period.”
