Congress alleged

Congress MPs, including Congress organization general secretary KC Venugopal, K Suresh and Manickam Tagore, wrote to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla alleging that India Bloc MPs were physically prevented from entering Parliament. Not only this, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi was assaulted by three MPs of the ruling party.

In a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker, the Congress MPs claimed that they were protesting peacefully and marching from the statue of Babasaheb Ambedkar to Makar Dwar in Parliament. The MPs said that when we tried to enter Parliament from Makar Dwar, the protesting MPs were physically prevented from entering.
