At the same time, BJP camp is currently brainstorming the names of its candidates and will soon release the first list. In this regard, the party has now formed 43 committees, while a coordinator of each committee has also been appointed.
Let us tell you that, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced the formation of a 17-member election committee last Wednesday. In this regard, this committee formed on the instructions of BJP national president JP Nadda includes party's Delhi unit chief Virendra Sachdeva, all seven members of the Lok Sabha from the national capital and senior leaders Dushyant Gautam, Manjinder Singh Sirsa and Arvinder Singh Lovely.
According to the list released by the party, state election in-charge Baijayant Panda, co-in-charge Atul Garg and Alka Gurjar are special invitees in the committee and Delhi BJP Mahila Morcha chief Richa Mishra is also included as ex-officio member.

Along with this, BJP has selected one observer for all the 70 seats of Delhi Assembly, who will gather necessary opinions from the public and workers and brainstorm on which candidate can win the party in which assembly.

If sources are to be believed, former Delhi cabinet minister Kailash Gehlot, who left Aam Aadmi Party and joined the BJP camp, from Najafgarh, former Delhi cabinet minister Rajkumar Anand, who resigned from AAP and joined BSP and then BJP, is from Najafgarh. This time the party can contest elections from the city assembly. Actually, Anand has been an MLA from Patel Nagar, hence BJP can bet on him.

There is news that New Delhi may field former MP Pravesh Verma, son of former CM Sahib Singh Verma, against Arvind Kejriwal from the Assembly.
