Car News Desk – The Indian market was quite interesting for 2024 electric cars. This year, Indian and foreign companies have launched many great vehicles in the electric car segment. The new electric cars that have come in the Indian market this year not only include vehicles from popular companies, but EV models from luxury brands have also been introduced.

1. Tata Punch EV and Tata Curve EV
Punch EV price: Rs 10 lakh to Rs 14.29 lakh.
Curve EV price: Rs 17.50 lakh to Rs 22 lakh.
Tata Punch EV was launched in the Indian market on 17 January 2024. It has two battery pack options, which are 25 kWh and 35 kWh. Its 25 kWh gives a range of 315 km and 35 kWh gives a range of up to 421 km. Tata Curve EV was launched in India on 7 August. It has the option of 45 kWh and 55 kWh battery pack, giving a range of up to 430 km and 502 km.

2. Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6
Price of XEV 9e: Rs 21.90 lakh
BE 6 Price: Rs 18.90 lakh

3. MG Windsor EV
Price: Rs 10 lakh to Rs 15.50 lakh.
MG launched the Windsor EV in India on September 11. It has a 38 kWh battery pack, which gives a range of up to 332 kilometers on a single charge. The company is also offering this car in a model priced at Rs 3.5 per kilometer.

4. BYD eMAX 7 and BYD Seal EV
eMAX 7 Price: Rs 26.90 lakh to Rs 29.90 lakh.
Seal EV price: Rs 41 lakh to Rs 53 lakh.
BYD launched eMAX 7 in India on 8 October 2024. It has the option of 55.4 kWh and 71.8 kWh battery pack. The company claims that it gives a range of up to 530 kilometers on a single charge. BYD Seal EV was launched in India on 5 March 2024. It is a premium electric sedan. It has an 82.5 kWh battery, which gives a range of up to 580 kilometers on a single charge.

5. Mercedes-Benz EQA and EQB facelift
EQA price: Rs 66 lakh.
EQB Price: Rs 70.9 lakh to Rs 77.50 lakh.
Mercedes-Benz launched the EQA and EQB facelift in India in July. The EQA has a 70.5 kWh battery, which gives a range of up to 560 kilometers on a single charge, while the EQB has a 66.5 kWh battery, which gives a range of up to 447 kilometers on a single charge.

6. Kia EV9
Price: Rs 1.3 crore.
Kia launched its flagship EV9 in India on 3 October 2024. It is an SUV with three-row seats. It has a 99.8 kWh battery, which gives a range of up to 561 kilometers on a single charge.

7. BMW i5
Price: Rs 1.20 crore.
BMW launched its electric sedan i5 in India on 25 April 2024. It has a battery pack of 81.2 kWh. After full charge, it gives a range of up to 516 kilometers. This electric sedan accelerates from 0-100 kilometers per hour in just 3.8 seconds.
