Delhi Assembly Election 2025: The Left parties will field candidates on some seats in the upcoming assembly elections in Delhi and have appealed to the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to get ready to contest the elections with the 'India' alliance. At a press conference here, state leaders of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation and Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) said the Left will give Delhi an alternative.

He said that the group of left parties will include Forward Bloc and Communist Gadar Party of India (CGPI), because Bharatiya Janata Party at the Center and Aam Aadmi Party in the state have not been able to solve the problems of the common people. “The Left parties want to fill the void left by the mainstream parties in Delhi. BJP at the Center and AAP in the state have disappointed the people of Delhi,” said CPI(M) leader Anurag Saxena.

Where will CPI(M) field its candidates?
Anurag Saxena said that CPI(M) will field candidates from Karawal Nagar and Badarpur, CPI from Vikaspuri and Palam, and CPI (ML) Liberation from Narela and Kondli. He told that Forward Bloc and CPI will also declare candidates on some more seats soon. CPI(M) candidates are Advocate Ashok Aggarwal from Karawal Nagar and Jagdish Chand Sharma from Badarpur.

Arvind Kejriwal's party 'AAP' has released its list of candidates for all 70 assembly seats of Delhi, along with Congress has also released its first list. Arvind Kejriwal has clearly refused to form an election alliance with Congress.
