Bhopal: Rs 15 crore cash and 55 kg gold recovered from an abandoned vehicle found in the forest.
A major recovery has come to light during the raid of Income Tax Department in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. ₹15 crore cash and 55 kg gold were recovered from an abandoned Innova vehicle in the forest adjacent to the city. Investigation is going on to find out who is the owner of this vehicle and what is the real source of such a huge amount of money and gold.
Revealed from abandoned vehicle in the forest
The incident took place in the forest of Mandora village near Bhopal. Late night, the police and Income Tax Department received information about an abandoned Innova vehicle. When the team reached the spot, two bags were found in the car. Upon search, a huge amount of cash and gold was recovered from these bags.

The vehicle is said to be registered in the name of a person from Gwalior. It is believed that this vehicle was left in the forest to avoid raids. In the preliminary investigation, the gold and money are being said to be acquired from illegal money.

This recovery has taken place at a time when the Income Tax Department has raided many places in Bhopal, Indore and Gwalior for two days.
