Stock market weak in early trade for fifth consecutive day, Sensex and Nifty fall – ..

New Delhi, 20 December (Hindustan Reporter). The domestic stock market seems to be trading under pressure amid fluctuations during early trading today. Today’s trading started with a slight gain. In the first half hour of trading, the stock market showed a bullish trend due to the support of buying, but after some time, due to the selling pressure, the stock market dived into the red. After the first one hour of trading, Sensex was trading with a weakness of 0.48 percent and Nifty with a weakness of 0.41 percent.

One hour after the start of trading, shares of Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Titan Company, NTPC, Adani Enterprises and Tata Consumer Products were trading with a strength of 2.22 per cent to 0.68 per cent. On the other hand, shares of Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra, Cipla, JSW Steel and Larsen & Toubro were seen trading with a fall of 2.10 per cent to 0.93 per cent.

In the current trading, there was active trading in 2,333 shares in the stock market. Of these, 1,142 shares were trading in the green after earning profits, while 1,191 shares were trading in the red after incurring losses. Similarly, out of 30 shares included in Sensex, 6 shares remained in the green with the support of buying. On the other hand, 24 shares were trading in the red due to selling pressure. Whereas out of 50 shares included in Nifty, 20 shares were seen trading in green mark and 30 shares were seen trading in red mark.

BSE Sensex opened today with a gain of 117.43 points at the level of 79,335.48 points. After the start of trading, this index kept trading with slight fluctuations for some time, but after the first 15 minutes itself, with the support of buying, this index jumped to 79,587.15 points. However, this strength could not last long. Within the next 15 minutes of trading, sellers dominated the market, due to which the index plunged into the red. After the first hour of trading amid continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am the Sensex was trading at the level of 78,836.34 points with a weakness of 381.71 points.

Like Sensex, NSE’s Nifty started trading today with a slight gain of 9 points at the level of 23,960.70 points. With the support of buying in the first half-hour of trading, this index also jumped to 24,065.80 points, but after this, due to selling pressure, this index also dived into the red. After the first one hour of trading between continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am Nifty was trading at the level of 23,854.30 points with a fall of 97.40 points.

Before this, on the last trading day on Thursday, the Sensex had closed at the level of 79,218.05 points with a weakness of 964.15 points or 1.20 percent. At the same time, Nifty ended Thursday’s trading at the level of 23,951.70 points with a decline of 247.15 points or 1.02 percent.
