New Bajaj Chetak 35 Series: Bajaj Auto has today launched the new Chetak 35 series of its popular Chetak electric scooter. The new series scooters are equipped with powerful batteries, more range than before and other upgraded features. Bajaj Chetak 35 series electric scooter has a 3.5 kWh underfloor battery pack. It also has 35 liters of under-seat storage, in which customers can keep helmets and other important items. A separate compartment has been provided for charging. The auto maker claims that the battery in the new Chetak 35 series has an actual range of 125 km and a claimed range of 153 km on a full charge. The battery gets charged to 80% in 3 hours 25 minutes with the help of a 950-watt charger. The top speed of the new Chetak 35 Series is 73 km/h. Both eco and sports modes are available in the new scooters.
Talking about the features, to make the driving experience even better in the Bajaj Chetak 35 series electric scooter, a colored TFT display has been provided, which is equipped with features like turn-by-turn navigation, call control and music management. Features like call attending, music control and real-time notifications directly on the display are also provided in the new Chetak scooter. The new Chetak has a classic D-share bonnet. In which no nut-bolt is visible. It has features like horseshoe shaped DRL, tubular metal body, remote immobilizer, speed alert, thief alert.
Talking about the price, the new Bajaj Chetak 35 series has been brought in two variants Chetak 3502 and Chetak 3501. Its Chetak 3502 has been priced at Rs 1.2 lakh and Chetak 3501 has been priced at Rs 1.27 lakh. The new Bajaj Chetak 35 will compete with TVS iQube, Ather Rizta, Ampere Nexus and Ola S1.
