Prithvi Shaw shows no remorse after snub by Mumbai, posts a controversial message
Prithvi Shaw is not slowing down when it comes to indiscipline. Mumbai recently dropped him for the Vijay Hazare Trophy, and one of the officials of the MCA exposed him for late-night parties, fitness issues, and attitude. Instead of working on different aspects of the game and personality, he again reacted to the statement of the Mumbai Cricket Association.
He posted a message on social media which is going to put him in more trouble. “If you don’t understand it fully, don’t speak on it. T0o many people have a full opinion, with half the facts,” Shaw wrote.
Earlier, he had posted an emotional message after his non-selection for the upcoming domestic tournament. The MCA official called Shaw is his own enemy.
“In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, we played with 10 fielders as we had to hide Prithvi Shaw, who was unable to stop the ball. He failed to hit the ball with his bat.
“He was going to late-night parties and used to return at 6 am in the morning. Shaw was not taking cricket seriously, and the senior players were not liking his attitude,” one of the MCA officials told PTI.
He went unsold in the IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. When the young batter scored a hundred on his Test debut against the West Indies, he was labelled as a future star, but his interest in off-the-field activities has ruined his career.
