Stampede at Pandit Pradeep Mishra's Katha in Meerut, many people injured


New Delhi. A stampede broke out at the Katha place of Pandit Pradeep Mishra in Meerut, UP. There are reports of injuries to many people including women. The police have sent the injured to the nearest hospital for treatment. At present, information about the exact number of injured has not been received. It is being told that due to the large crowd at the entry gate of the Katha place, there was a stampede due to which some women fell and got injured. A program on the story of Pandit Pradeep Mishra was organized by Shri Kedareshwar Seva Samiti in Shatabdi Nagar, Meerut.

The story started on 15th December. Tomorrow is the last day of the story but before that today an accident happened there. The video of this stampede incident is also going viral on social media. It can be seen that due to the large crowd, women fell on each other. It is being told that it starts from 1 pm every day and continues till 4 pm. Thousands of people visit this Katha every day. Around 1000 policemen have also been put on duty to control the crowd at the story site. Some private bouncers have also been deployed.

It is being told that due to heavy crowd today, the security personnel posted at the entry gate stopped people from going inside. Due to this people gathered there. When people tried to force their way inside, a stampede-like situation occurred and people fell on each other. Along with the police, the medical team has also reached the spot. Those who have suffered minor injuries are being given medicines on the spot and those who have suffered serious injuries have been sent to the hospital.
