This expensive vaccine will be given to cancer patients for free, Russia made a big claim…

New Delhi:- Cancer is a disease whose seriousness and horrors almost everyone is aware of. However, due to advancements in the medical field, cancer can be treated if detected at the right time. But still every year a large number of people lose their lives due to various types of cancer due to lack of awareness and right treatment at the right time. Cancer is a serious and to some extent an incurable disease. But, now its treatment is possible.

Russia made a big claim

Yes! Russia claims to have developed a new mRNA vaccine for cancer. This vaccine will be released publicly in early 2025 and will be available for free. According to state news agency TASS, Andrey Kaprin, director general of the Russian Health Ministry's Radiology Medical Research Center, told Radio Rossiya that Russia has developed its own mRNA vaccine against cancer, which will be given to patients for free.
According to Russia's TASS news agency, this vaccine is the result of collaborative efforts between several research centers. Alexander Gintsburg, director of the Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, shared that pre-clinical trials have demonstrated its ability to suppress tumor growth and prevent metastasis. According to Alexander Gintsburg, pre-clinical trials show that the vaccine prevents tumor growth and the spread of cancer.

How does mRNA vaccine work?
mRNA vaccines work by introducing a piece of messenger RNA into the body, causing cells to produce a specific protein. RNA or ribonucleic acid is a polymer molecule that is essential for most biological functions in living cells. The immune system recognizes this protein as foreign and makes antibodies to fight it. In the case of cancer, this process is designed to help the immune system identify and attack cancer cells.

Role of AI in vaccine development
Gintsburg also highlighted the use of artificial intelligence in accelerating vaccine development. He said AI-powered neural network computations could reduce the time required to make personalized vaccines, allowing the process to be completed in less than an hour. Earlier this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed optimism about the progress, saying the country was close to creating a cancer vaccine and next-generation immunomodulatory drugs.
