Tottenham Stun Manchester United to Advance in Carabao Cup

Manchester United gets knocked out of the Carabao Cup, after losing 4-3 in the quarter-final clash against Tottenham Hotspur. Dominic Solanke scored two goals for Tottenham, playing a crucial role in their win.

The Carabao Cup had an intense quarter-final clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, which was a 7-goal game. This match saw Tottenham Hotspur secure the win against Manchester United, knocking the latter out of the tournament and advancing to the semi-finals.

This match resulted in a narrow loss for Ruben Amorim’s side, even when they had the advantage of playing at the home ground, as they lost 4-3. Tottenham Hotspur started the game well as Dominic Solanke scored a goal in the 15th minute of the game to give his team an early lead. Until the first half of the game, the scores were 1-0.

Just as the second half started, Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke scored a goal within 10 minutes to provide Tottenham with a 3-0 lead to the game within an hour. However, Manchester United started to fight back, with goals scored by Joshua Zirkzee and Amad Diallo, who were able to score goals in the 63rd and 70th minute of the game respectively.

But this was still not enough for them to end the game with a draw, as Son Heung-min scored the 4th goal for Tottenham Hotspur towards the end of the game. Although Manchester United tried their best to end it with a draw, the team still fell one goal short.
