Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule landed in a controversy following which all its shows got removed from theatres in North India.
Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule has become one of India’s biggest blockbusters of all time. The massy actioner earned Rs 1500 crore worldwide just with its 14 days of release. However, despite being a box office hit, the film unfortunately faced theatre exit. This happened after the makers of Sukumar’s film landed in a argument with PVR INOX, following which the theatre chain removed all its shows from North India.

On Thursday night, Trade analysts Manobala Vijayabalan took to his X (formerly twitter) account and shared, “BREAKING: Pushpa 2 REMOVED from all PVR INOX chains in North India from Tomorrow.”

However, few hours later trade analyst share another update and revealed the issue is solved between the two parties. “BREAKING: Pushpa 2 PVR INOX agreement issue now resolved. Shows opening slowly one by one,” Manobala wrote.

Allu Arjun’s action drama is currently the fastest Indian film to breach Rs 1000 crore mark at the worldwide box office. Moreover, in Hindi language, it has become the highest grossing film. According to the film’s production house, Mythiri Movie Makers, Allu Arjun’s action flick has reportedly collected Rs 1,508 crore as of now.
Meanwhile, another controversy occurred few weeks back related to the film. Allu Arjun was arrested in the case of related to the death of a woman at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad during the screening of Pushpa 2 earlier this month. The women passed away after stampeded occurred just to witness the glimpse of Allu Arjun, alongside music director Devi Sri Prasad. Allu Arjun was arrested from his residence and was booked for 14-day judicial custody. Next day, he was granted interim bail for 4 weeks on a personal bond of Rs 50,000.
