“If the situation improves, India will play in Pakistan once again”: Harbhajan Singh hails neighbouring country for giving love to Indian players

Harbhajan Singh wants India to play in Pakistan, but only if the security situation improves in the neighboring country. He hailed Pakistan for giving love to the Indian cricketers in the past and said that Virat Kohli is followed by a lot of fans in that part of the world.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be played in a hybrid model after the BCCI refused to send their team due to the Indian government’s stance.

The legendary spinner also highlighted that the Men in Blue couldn’t play the Champions Trophy in Pakistan and that the diplomatic relations between the two nations need to get better for the resumption of cricket matches.

“If the conditions improves, who would not want to go to Pakistan? We have got a lot of love in Pakistan and whenever the Indian team goes to Pakistan, the fans follow the players. But there are security issues. India have played in Pakistan in the past as well and if the situation improves, India will play in Pakistan once again,” Harbhajan Singh said.

Bhajji mentioned that India will not suffer if Pakistan refuses to play in the country in future ICC tournaments.

“If Pakistan doesn’t come to India, it will not bother us a bit. If you ask the current cricketers, they will say the same thing. Things could have been different if the situation in Pakistan was different,” Harbhajan Singh told India Today.
