Meditation is that yogic activity through which Siddhi is achieved, it improves your mental and physical condition. Actually, the correct method of doing yoga has been explained in the fifth and sixth chapters of Bhagavad Gita. Regarding this, Lord Krishna himself had told Arjun that it is right to meditate to control the mind and senses.

Know about the method of meditation mentioned in Geeta

The correct method of meditation is mentioned here in the Bhagavad Gita. Let us know about the method…

1- According to Geeta, to meditate, first of all one should sit at a pure place with a seat spread out on it. However, keep in mind that the place should neither be too high nor too low. After sitting on the asana, one should try to concentrate on one's breathing and practice bringing the senses and mind under control.
2- After this, it is told in Geeta that to meditate, the yogi should sit in Sukhasana, keeping the head and neck level and still. Attention should be diverted from external things and focused on the front part of the nose i.e. between the two eyebrows.
3- After that, one should remove the mind from all kinds of subjects and try to fix the eyes in the middle of the eyebrows. After this, prana and apana vayu should be equalized.
4-After this, one should remain away from all the disorders of the mind, without excitement and in peace, sitting in meditation and contemplation of God. In this way, a pure and disorderly person, meditating on the Supreme, attains the ultimate limit of happiness and attains peace.

If you meditate here according to the rules of Geeta, you attain mental peace. If you meditate here, you gain mental strength. Meditation increases concentration and we are able to give our 100% to our goal. Along with this, we can also establish an ideal and orderly society through meditation.
