Jaggery – 1 cup (250 grams)
Cashews – 2 tbsp
Almonds- 2 tbsp
Small cardamoms – 7 to 8 (ground)

Method of preparation:
Roast sesame seeds:
First of all, put sesame seeds in a pan and fry it well for 3-4 minutes on low flame. Keep in mind that the sesame seeds should not burn, so keep stirring it continuously. When the sesame seeds become light golden in color, turn off the gas and take the sesame seeds out in a plate.
Melting Jaggery:
Now add 1 spoon of ghee in the same pan and add grated jaggery in it and let it melt on low flame. Melt the jaggery thoroughly and ensure that there are no lumps left in it.
Mix sesame seeds and jaggery:
When the jaggery melts well, add roasted sesame seeds to it and mix well. Keep stirring until the mixture becomes homogeneous. Keep in mind that the jaggery should not be too thick or too thin.
Making Laddu:
Now let the mixture cool slightly (but do not let it cool completely). Then apply ghee on your hands and make small laddus from this mixture. To shape the laddus, after the mixture cools down for some time, you can quickly make the laddus with your hands.
Laddus ready:
Sesame laddus are now ready. Their taste is slightly sweet and crisp.
Tips:
If you want, you can also add dry fruits (cashew nuts, almonds, raisins) to sesame laddus.
Sesame laddus are very beneficial for the body in winter. These provide warmth to the body and make bones strong.
