Modi will meet Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The discussions will focus on strengthening cooperation in the following areas:

Additionally, Modi will visit a labor camp for Indian workers and address the Indian community at the 'Hala Modi' event at the Sheikh Saad Al Abdullah Sports Complex.
Strengthening India-Kuwait relations
India-Kuwait relations have seen steady growth:
Bilateral trade to reach US$10.47 billion in 2023-24.
Kuwait is India's sixth largest crude oil supplier, meeting 3 percent of its energy requirements.
Kuwait Investment Authority has invested more than US$10 billion in India.
Over one million Indians are Kuwait's largest expatriate community.
GCC foster relationships
The visit is also expected to strengthen India's relations with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) headed by Kuwait. The six-nation GCC is a major trading partner, with bilateral trade expected to reach US$184.46 billion in 2022-23.

Ahead of the visit, the Ministry of External Affairs stressed that the visit can “open a new chapter” in India-Kuwait relations, promote mutual development and enhance diplomatic ties.
