Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora were once considered one of the most adorable couples in B-town. The couple was reportedly in a relationship for six years. However, in 2024, speculations began circulating about their breakup. Eventually, both actors confirmed that they were no longer together. Following their separation, this marks the first time Arjun Kapoor has opened up about his breakup with Malaika.

During a conversation with Raj Shamani, Arjun spoke about his breakup and how his mother’s death and his parents’ separation have shaped his perspective on relationships. He shared, “When what happened with dad and Khushi-Janhvi, there was an impulse. And in this case, also, there was an instinct and impulse. If I’ve formed an emotional bond with somebody, I would always like to believe that I will be there regardless of the good or bad. If I’m invited for the good, I will be there. And if I’m needed for the bad, I will be there. I’m not somebody who has a lot of friends, I’m not doing this for all and sundry. If that person doesn’t want me there, I’ll maintain a distance, as I have in the past.”

Malaika’s Father Demise

Following the tragic passing of her father, Malaika Arora issued a heartfelt statement on behalf of her family. She wrote:
“We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock by this loss, and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult time. We appreciate your understanding, support, and respect. With gratitude, Joyce, Malaika, Amrita, Shakeel, Arhaan, Azaan, Rayyan, Casper, AXL, Duffy, and Buddy.”

Meanwhile, during a promotional event, Arjun Kapoor also confirmed that he and Malaika Arora have parted ways.
