Young riders interested in competing at Junior Nationals will compete for top honors
London London. The country's top young riders will compete for top honors at the Junior National Equestrian Championships at the Army Polo and Riding Center (APRC) in Delhi Cantt from Sunday. The meet has been divided into two categories – Children-I and Young Rider – and it Will run from December 22-24 and December 26-29.
For the first phase of the event, the Championships have received 507 entries, including 470 individuals and 37 teams in the categories of Children-I and Young Riders in Dressage, Show Jumping and Tent Pegging. “An impressive number of participants It reflects the hard work and dedication of our riders, especially the younger generation,” said Jaiveer Singh, general secretary of the Indian Equestrian Federation.
“We are proud to provide this platform for athletes to showcase their skills and set new standards in the sport.” In dressage, there will be 30 individual and seven team participants in the Children-I category and 10 individuals and three teams in the Young Rider category. In show-jumping, there will be 127 individuals and 23 teams in Children-I (normal category), Children-I (side event ) consists of 119 participants and 21 participants in Young Riders (General and Side Event categories).
