Ranchi: The threat of splinter group has once again been seen in Khalari of Radhani Ranchi. The criminals, who had left the Naxalite organization and were engaged in extortion, spread terror by firing several rounds near Nirmal Mahato Chowk of Khalari, not only this, the criminals stopped vehicles laden with coal and set them on fire.

The criminal organization abducted the driver and attendant from the vehicle near Nirmal Mahato Chowk, assaulted them and also snatched their mobile phone. One after the other, three vehicles were set on fire and they fled from the spot.

After receiving information about the incident, McCluskieganj police station reached the spot and somehow controlled the fire. Khalari police station in-charge Vijay Kumar Singh said that three vehicles carrying coal were set on fire. Whether the fire was set by Naxalites or by some criminal organization is being investigated. A search operation has also been started in the area.
