FAU-G: Domination Pre-Registrations Open, Android Beta Launches on December 22
Mumbai-based Nazara Publishing has announced that the Android beta for the highly anticipated Indian military shooter, FAU-G: Domination, will go live on December 22, 2024. Developed by Dot9 Games, the first-person shooter aims to bring Indian-themed environments and gripping gameplay to the forefront of mobile gaming.
FAU-G: Domination – Beta Access and What to Expect
Players participating in the beta will get a taste of the full game, including its maps, modes, weapons, and characters. Dot9 Games has refined the game based on feedback from earlier playtests. Updates include improved maps, balanced weapons, and enhanced sound effects. The studio is banking on the beta to finalize the game’s mechanics before its official launch.
Participants can register for the beta by joining the waitlist, and those selected will receive an exclusive set of cosmetic items unavailable after the game’s release. Additionally, a few lucky beta players will win limited-edition FAU-G: Domination merchandise.
FAU-G: Domination – College Playtests Reveal Early Feedback
Before the beta announcement, Dot9 Games held live playtests at Ecole Intuit and KJ Somaiya College, engaging young game design students. The feedback was a mixed bag but largely positive:
- 80% of testers appreciated the Indian-themed environments.
- 55% favored the Team Deathmatch mode, while the “Kiss of Death” one-shot mode came in at 30%.
- 75% rated the gunplay as “good” to “excellent,” but device overheating was noted as a concern by 10% of players.
The game holds a patriotic sentiment, dedicating its journey to Bharat Ke Veer, an initiative supporting the families of fallen Indian soldiers. Earlier this year, Nazara donated ₹25 lakh to the cause. Additionally, players can purchase in-game items, with all proceeds going to Bharat Ke Veer.
FAU-G: Domination – Pre-Registrations Live Now
Pre-registrations for FAU-G: Domination are open on Google Play, with iOS and iPadOS registrations to follow. Early registrants will unlock the Beast Collection, a limited-edition set inspired by the tiger, India’s national animal. The collection features six in-game cosmetics, including gun skins and accessories, available only to pre-registered players.
Dot9 Games plans to monitor the beta closely, taking player feedback to address any issues before the final release. Beta participants can follow updates on Discord and social media platforms.
