Preeti Patel has made this comment after the recent incident in which a Chinese spy tried to enter Buckingham Palace. This spy attempted to infiltrate Buckingham Palace through Prince Andrew (younger brother of King Charles-III). Patel accused British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and his cabinet of giving priority to trade relations with China over national security. He said China has always been a threat to Britain, especially when it comes to national security, intellectual property, cyber activities and spreading misinformation.
