Big gift for the women of Delhi, registration of 'Mahila Samman Yojana' starts from December 23, know what will be the process.

New Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party has taken another important step for the empowerment of women in Delhi. Party's national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced that the registration process under 'Mahila Samman Yojana' is starting from Monday, December 23. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 2100 will be given every month to the women of Delhi.

Registration process will be easy

In the press conference, Arvind Kejriwal said, “Registration will be mandatory to avail the benefits of Mahila Samman Yojana. No one will need to go anywhere for this. Our team will personally come to your home and complete the registration process. After registration, women will also be given cards.”

The Chief Minister also said that this scheme will help women in running the household and will also reduce the burden of daughters' education.

Women of Delhi will get benefits sitting at home

Arvind Kejriwal said, “This is a great news for Delhi. Our government has decided to provide Samman Nidhi of Rs 2100 per month for women. Many people had called and asked about the date of commencement of registration. Now I announce that the registration process is starting from 23rd December.”

Free treatment to the elderly under 'Sanjeevani Yojana'

Along with women, a big announcement has also been made for the elderly of Delhi. Kejriwal said that under 'Sanjeevani Yojana' the elderly will get free treatment. Only the voters of Delhi will get its benefit.

He said, “Our team will go to the elderly and register them. If anyone’s name has been deleted from the voter list, our team will help in re-adding it.”


Message to LG, 'Work for the people of Delhi'

Arvind Kejriwal also gave a message to the Lieutenant Governor during the press conference. He said, “I want to tell LG Saheb to point out our shortcomings, we will rectify them. But nothing will be achieved by abusing Kejriwal. “Change will come only by working for the people of Delhi.”

With Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjeevani Yojana, the Delhi government has once again given the message of giving priority to the needs of the public. After the start of the registration process, the benefits of the scheme are expected to be available to the women and elderly people of Delhi soon.
