When will Rohit Sharma retire from test cricket? Gavaskar predicted
Delhi: Indian team captain and ace batsman Rohit Sharma is struggling to score runs in the ongoing Test series on Australia tour. Rohit, who did not play the first Test of this series, took part in the second and third matches, but his performance did not live up to expectations. In such a situation, former veteran batsman of Team India, Sunil Gavaskar gave a big statement and told when the opener can retire from Test cricket.

Sunil Gavaskar said in a conversation with ABC Sports, “If Rohit Sharma fails to score runs in the remaining two matches of this 5-match Test series, then I think he will retire from the Test format.”
Apart from this, Gavaskar described Rohit as a responsible cricketer and said that he is very dedicated towards Indian cricket. He said, “Rohit will definitely play the next two Test matches, but if he does not get runs from his bat, then he can say goodbye to Test cricket.”
