Allu Arjun: Stones pelted at Pushpa 2 actor Allu Arjun's house, case registered against 6 accused

Allu Arjun: The stone pelting at actor Allu Arjun's house comes at a time when a woman was killed and a child was injured during a stampede at a cinema hall during the show of Pushpa 2. On Sunday, a group of Osmania University student leaders protested outside the actor's house, demanding compensation for the family members of the deceased woman. The crowd was raising slogans and throwing stones at Allu Arjun's house. Apart from sloganeering, the protesters damaged Allu Arjun's property. During their protest, the protesters also destroyed flower pots kept outside the actor's residence and demanded a compensation of Rs 1 crore for the family of the Pushpa 2 stampede victim.

DCP West Zone, Hyderabad said in a statement, “Today at around 4.45 pm, some people carrying placards in their hands suddenly reached the Jubilee Hills residence of actor Allu Arjun and started raising slogans and one of them climbed the premises and threw tomatoes. When the security staff protested and tried to persuade them to come down from the wall, they climbed the wall, scuffled with some flowers placed on the ramp. The pots were damaged.

The DCP said, “Upon receiving information, Jubilee Hills police arrived and detained 6 people, all of whom claimed to be part of Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OU-JAC). A case has been registered against 6 persons and others involved in the said crime and strict action as per law is being initiated against all of them.
