It is advisable to eat things with hot nature in winter. Consuming sesame and jaggery in winter is considered beneficial for the body. The nature of both is hot. Laddu made of cold sesame seeds and jaggery should be prepared and eaten in abundance. With this you will be able to protect yourself from cold. These laddus do not spoil for months in winter. You can prepare it once and eat it throughout the winter season. Eating this laddu after meals also helps in digesting the food easily. Jaggery and sesame laddu recipe
Step 1- First of all you will need sesame seeds to make laddus. Prepare this laddu with 250 grams sesame seeds and about 400 grams jaggery. You can keep the quantity of jaggery or sesame as per your choice. -To make laddus you have to take only white sesame seeds. Clean the sesame seeds and put them in a pan or pan and roast them on low flame. When the sesame seeds are roasted, their crackling sound will subside and their color will become brown.
Second step- Now take out the sesame seeds in a plate to cool down and after it cools down, put it in the mixer and grind it lightly. One should not make powder of sesame seeds. If you want, you can also add whole sesame seeds. Here we are using lightly ground sesame seeds. – Stop occasionally while grinding in the mixer. This will grind the sesame seeds properly.
Third Step- Now add 2 spoons of desi ghee in a pan and break it into fine pieces and add jaggery. Keep the gas flame very low and let the jaggery melt while stirring. When the jaggery melts, turn off the gas. – Now mix ground sesame seeds in jaggery. – Mix both the things well and then make laddus.
