How to download video on SD card?
Follow these steps to download videos from YouTube:
- Go to the video watch page and press the download button.
- Make sure the SD card is inserted in the phone.
- To make the SD card the default storage location for YouTube videos:
- Open the YouTube app and tap your profile picture.
- Go to Settings and click on Background & Downloads option.
- From here enable the Use SD card option.

How to transfer from internal storage to SD card?
If the SD card option is not enabled, the video will be saved to the phone's internal storage. YouTube does not allow direct transfer from internal storage to SD card. The solution is:
- First of all, delete the video saved in internal storage.
- Go to Settings and set the video storage location to SD card.
- Now download the video again. It will be saved on the SD card.
Take care before downloading
It is important to have sufficient storage space in the SD card. If there is no space on the SD card, the video will not download.
