Kumar Vishwas said that read Ramayana to your children, so that no one else takes away Lakshmi of the house. Politics has heated up after this statement and Congress leader Supriya Shrinet has given a sharp reaction on it.

If you have a daughter in your own house, would you make cheap remarks about someone else's daughter and get cheap applause? You can already imagine to what extent you have fallen by doing this, Kumar Vishwas ji, you have not only taken a cheap dig at Sonakshi Sinha's inter-religious marriage but you have also shown the real thinking that you have for women within you. Exposed your words 'otherwise someone else will take away Sri Lakshmi from your house'. Is the girl someone like someone whom someone would pick up and take away? For how long will people like you continue to consider a woman the property of her father and then her husband?

The foundation of marriage and matrimony is equality, mutual trust and mutual love.
