According to Hongxing Newssources claim the two actors have secretly finalized their divorce proceedings, only occasionally meeting for the sake of their five-year-old son. The news has sparked significant attention on social media, attracting hundreds of thousands of comments. However, both Liu and Wu have yet to comment on their marital status.
Both had previously co-founded an entertainment company in Jiangsu, but this company has since ceased business registration. Currently, Liu and Wu have no financial ties.
Liu and Wu fell in love while filming the hit 2011 TV series “Scarlet Heart,” got married in 2015, and held a multi-million dollar wedding in Indonesia in 2016.
In recent years, Liu has been active in the entertainment industry, securing numerous advertising gigs and representing several fashion brands. Meanwhile, Wu has scaled back his acting roles to spend more time with their child.

Wu once shared on social media that since having a child, he feels that everything around him has changed. He stays home more, and his sleeping and waking hours revolve around his son. Wu has learned how to manage holding his child with one hand and making formula with the other. He often closely observes his son during times of crying or tantrums to understand his needs, hoping to become a close friend and guide his son towards what he truly desires.
Wu began his career in the entertainment industry in 1988 as a member of the boyband “Little Tigers.” He later embarked on a solo career, known for his roles in TV series such as “At the Threshold of an Era,” “Treasure Raiders,” and “Scarlet Heart.”
Liu made her acting debut in 2005 in a leading role in the television drama series “The Moon and the Wind.” She then gained recognition for her roles as Mu Nianci in the wuxia drama “The Legend of the Condor Heroes” and as Long Kui in the fantasy action drama “Chinese Paladin 3.”
