Ingredients for making bread cutlets

– Bread slices 6-8 (white or brown bread)
– Boiled potatoes 2-3 (mashed)
– Green chilli 1-2 (finely chopped)
– Onion 1 (finely chopped)
– Ginger 1/2 tsp (grated)
– Coriander leaves 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
– Cumin 1/2 tsp
– Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
– Garam masala 1/2 tsp
– Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
– Lemon juice 1 tsp
– Salt as per taste
– Breadcrumbs 1 cup (for coating outside)
– *Oil for frying

How to make Bread Cutlet

1. In a large vessel, add mashed potatoes, onion, green chilli, ginger, coriander leaves.
2. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, cumin and salt and mix well.
3. Add lemon juice and make the mixture smooth.

Prepare the Bread
1. Lightly dip the bread slices in water and immediately squeeze them to remove excess water.
2. Add the squeezed bread to the potato mixture and form a uniform dough.

2. Roll the prepared cutlets in breadcrumbs so that the outer layer becomes crispy.

Frying Process:
1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Fry the prepared cutlets on medium flame until they become golden brown and crisp.
3. Remove the fried cutlets on tissue paper to absorb excess oil.
