Former Team India cricketer Vinod Kambli has been facing health problems for the last few days. His health has once again deteriorated, after which he has been admitted to Akriti Hospital in Thane. At present the doctors are taking care of him.

According to media reports, all his necessary tests are being done and his condition remains critical. Kambli had told in an interview on a YouTube channel that he was suffering from a serious urine infection, due to which he had fainted last month. Kambli has also suffered a heart attack and his health keeps deteriorating from time to time.

On this, Team India's veteran cricketer Kapil Dev, along with his 1983 World Cup teammates, offered Kambli help for rehab. Kambli accepted Kapil Dev's offer and thanked him for his help. He has agreed to go to rehab, although he has gone to rehab 14 times before.
Vinod Kambli's cricket career started in ODI in 1991. After this he made his debut in Test cricket in 1993. In his career, Kambli played 17 Test and 104 ODI matches. He scored 1084 runs in Test and 2477 runs in ODI. However, due to alcohol addiction his career could not last long.
