Pushpa 2: The Rule effortlessly swaps ₹1070 cr despite the ongoing backlash
According to early estimates, Pushpa 2 made ₹12.25 crore, collected ₹164.25 crore on its first day of release and ₹10.65 crore on its December 4 premiere. In India, the movie made ₹725.8 crore in its first week and ₹264.8 in its second.
As per the recent update, Allu Arjun has been called to the Chikkadpally police station in connection with the woman who died at the Sandhya Theatre during the Pushpa 2 premier.
On Sunday, someone posing as members of the OU JAC (Joint Action Committee of Osmania University students) vandalized a residence in Hyderabad. “Everyone has seen what happened at our house today. But it is time for us to act accordingly. Now is not the right time for us to react to anything. The law will take its own course” Allu Aravind, his father, told the media. Six people were given bail by a Hyderabad court on Monday.
Arjun had earlier spoke in a press meet at Jubilee Hills and said: “I am sorry something this unfortunate happened in my presence. When people claim I said it’s okay someone died or is hospitalised, that’s character assassination. It hurts me to see false allegations levelled against me.”
As per media reports, Naveen Yerneni of Mythri Movie Makers, as the film’s producer, compensated the victim’s family ₹50 lakh on Monday.
