New Delhi: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has started the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) May 2025 session registration process. The CSEET May 2025 registration link is available on the official website, icsi.edu. The last date to apply for the entrance exam is April 15, 2025.
As per the CSEET eligibility criteria, those who are appearing for the Class 12 board exam 2025 or have passed are eligible to apply. The CS qualification is recognised as equivalent to a postgraduate degree as per the University Grants Commission (UGC). There is no upper age limit to apply for the entrance exam.
Documents required while filling CSEET application form 2025
The soft copy of the below mentioned documents is required while filling out the application form-
- Photograph of the candidate
- Signature of the candidate
- Class 10 pass certificate and mark sheet
- Class 12 pass certificate and mark sheet or admit card (if appearing for the exam)
- Category certificate (if the candidate is applying for fee concession)
- Any identity proof (such as aadhar card, voter ID, PAN card, driving license, ration card or passport)
CSEET is conducted by ICSI four times a year- January, May, July and November. Candidates who qualify for the exam are eligible for direct admission to the CS Executive programme which is the second stage of the CS course.
The ICSI CSEET paper will have questions from business communication, legal aptitude and logical reasoning, economic and business development, current affairs and quantitative aptitude sections. The paper will comprise 200 marks where 50 marks are allotted to each of the sections. There will be no negative marking for the incorrect responses in the exam. To pass the exam, candidates need to score 50 per cent marks in aggregate and a minimum of 40 per cent marks in each paper.
