Unstoppable! Pushpa 2 SURPASSES Baahubali’s 2 domestic Box Office collection

New Delhi: Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 does not seem to be stopping anytime soon. With a total monopoly on the Indian Box Office, Pushpa 2 has broken most of Indian cinema’s long-standing records. Not only has the film shattered Tollywood’s records, it has flown past Bollywood records, becoming one of the most successful films of all time.

Pushpa 2 was released on December 5, 2024, and has climbed its way to become the third Indian film to cross the Rs 1,500 crore collection. The makers confirmed that the Allu Arjun-starrer surpassed the Rs 1,508 crore gross collection mark in 14 days, making it the fastest Indian film to do so. Here is how Pushpa 2 performed at the Box office today.

Pushpa 2 Box Office collection day 19

According to the industry tracker, Sacnilk, as of 9 PM on Monday (December 23), 19 days into its theatrical run, the blockbuster film earned Rs 8.54 crore at the domestic Box Office. After minting Rs 27.75 crore on Saturday and Rs 32.95 crore on Sunday, Pushpa 2 has earned Rs 69.24 crore during its third weekend.

For the third consecutive weekend, Pushpa 2 has managed to hold the audience’s attention. Film analyst Taran Adarsh applauded the film for crossing the Rs 50 crore mark in weekend three despite new releases.

Pushpa 2 beats Baahubali 2!

As of day 19, Pushpa 2 has accumulated Rs 1071.14 crore at the Indian Box Office. To surpass Baahubali 2: The conclusion in the worldwide collection, Pushpa 2 requires approximately Rs 280 crore. Although the amount sounds impossible to take over, if Allu Arjun’s film continues to maintain its momentum, Baahubali 2′s worldwide milestone seems closer than ever.

For context, Baahubali 2‘s total lifetime worldwide collection stands at Rs 1,788 crore, while it earned Rs 1,030.42 crore in Nett India collections. So, Pushpa 2 has already broken SS Rajamouli’s long-standing record on the domestic level. As Pushpa 2 has been inching toward the Rs 1,600 mark with frightening speed, it is expected to become the second highest-grossing Indian film of all time within the next week.
